How It All Began
Our original plan was simple.
Life had other ideas.
Instead of following a predictable path, we found ourselves building flower farms, crossing continents, reinventing ourselves in unfamiliar countries, and collecting stories that were simply too absurd to be fiction.
If we had made them up, nobody would have believed us.

What began with a one-year contract in Jamaica, turned into decades of unexpected projects, new countries, and stories that were simply too unbelievable to invent. Jamaica, Turkey and Mexico became more than places on a map—they became home, classrooms, and endless sources of inspiration.
Today we live in Costa Rica’s beautiful Orosi Valley, where we run a small country inn, welcome guests from around the world, and continue writing about the unforgettable moments that happen when life refuses to follow the original plan.
Our books are not travel guides. They are true stories about taking chances, making mistakes, laughing anyway, and discovering that the best adventures usually begin with the words:
