OUR COFFEE SHOP
Café and Art
At our Coffee Shop we serve breakfast, homemade pastries, Espresso, Cappuccino, Café au lait, Brioche… and sandwiches from 7.00am to 7.00pm; we do not offer lunch or dinner. Our store is the result of constantly combing the national territory in search of the most special products. It is a job that lead us to get to know and appreciate each of the artists and artisans who always create unique objects. Nothing we offer is mass produced. In addition, our suppliers have shown us that they love their culture, enjoy their work, and greatly value the environment. Any product that you purchase at the Cafeteria will carry the essence of Costa Rica in it.
We sell a selection of the best organic coffee in the region.
Decorated with local souvenirs for sale by local artists, our Café and Artisan Shop is open from 7:00am to 7:00pm and provides free WIFI Internet access to our guests.
Please note that our Coffee Shop is only open for the public from Monday to Friday; weekends and holidays we are open for house guests only.
Our philosophy is sharing with the community, that is why we do not offer restaurant or bar service. There is a great variety of restaurants serving traditional and international cuisine close by, 5 minutes walking distance from our Hotel.
One of the best ways to immerse yourself in a culture is through the food. Local cuisine not only nourishes you, but it also provides insight into the history, landscape, and way of life in a rural Costa Rican village.

Best Places for Breakfast in Costa Rica # 1
Orosi Lodge
The German owners of this charming inn have been serving the same breakfast since they opened the place at the turn of the century: eggs, tomato, and thick bacon sprinkled with spices and sizzled in a skillet. The organic coffee served at Orosi Lodge is also delicious, and grown right up the street at Coffee Cristina, which exports most of its product but roasts a tiny portion just for the hotels guests.
